About the Company

Seth and Jennifer Abels moved to Florida in 2013, spending their first year at a large condo complex in Hallandale Beach. Shortly after they moved in they began to wonder about all the shuttered windows overlooking the pool. They realized countless snowbirds owned seasonal properties up and down the coast leaving them vacant for many months at a time. They would simply board them up for the summer and hope for the best when they came back. They personally knew many people who had second homes in Florida but had never really given any thought to what those people did when they were not using their vacation homes.

The answer was not long in coming. They were soon contacted by absentee-owner friends and family from Canada all asking for a favor. To ‘swing by’ and check the mail, the A/C, the roof, and of course to go through the hurricane preparation routine every time a big one threatened to darken the shores of South Florida. The requests became more numerous as people began to realize just how seriously Seth and Jennifer took their responsibilities and how thorough they were in their checkups. Eventually they realized these favors were eating up all their free time and decided to convert what they were already doing into a formal business. They officially opened their company in 2017 after spending four years doing it ‘on the house’.
